MEET THE OWNER

MICHAEL MARINO

Mike became interested in cigars while planning for a long overdue vacation to the Caribbean. He hadn’t had a proper vacation in over 20 years! Mike enjoyed the sun, beach and cigars immensely. Upon returning home, he set about looking for places to enjoy this new hobby. He was disappointed to discover that, due to restrictive smoking laws, there were very few places in the entire area where one could buy a cigar and a drink and enjoy them togeather.

Having recently sold his successful family business established in 1946, Mike was ready for a new career.

He beleived that this area might greatly enjoy a comfortable, relaxed lounge where men and women could enjoy a wide variety of cigars and rare liquors. Mike found himself visiting the Havana Cigar Room, there he found potential. Mike contacted the owner at the time, April Nickles, and soon a deal was made. Havana Cigar Room became Santino’s Cigars & Cocktails in June 2016!

Besides giving the place a facelift and providing lots of comfortable seating, a state-of-the-art humidor was installed to perfectly climatize all those new and established cigar products, including a separate humidor for flavored cigars. Four industrial quality ventilation units (the same ones used in hospitals and casinos) were installed to keep the air quality in the rest of the place perfect as well. Non-smoking customers have even remarked how pleasant it is!

Now Mike and his team are thrilled to offer you Santino’s Cigars & Cocktails! His employees have a wealth of knowlage when it comes to the Cigar and Spirits that are on hand. The Cigar selection at Santino's is unmatched. Mike is also a Certified Tobacconists and will be there to assist you in your Cigar purchase. Now aficionados and novices can enjoy the area’s only full service bar and cigar lounge offering outstanding cigars, unique accessories and the most sought-after bourbons, scotches and craft beers all served by friendly, experienced bartenders!

Love the B&H Old Fashions! Great choice of sticks. Once you past the humidor, it opens up to a nice lounge. The lounge has a nice laid back vibe.
